OpenRPF is a modern alternative to OpenIV.asi, designed specifically for the Enhanced version of GTA V. It functions similarly, enabling the loading of modified files from a dedicated mods folder. This eliminates the need to directly alter the game's original files, preserving their integrity.

• OPEN & encrypted compatibility: Supports both native game archives and those created with OpenIV (OPEN). No need to re-encrypt your modified files.
• rpf.cache bypass on Gen9: Bypasses the rpf.cache for modified files inside the mods folder, allowing seamless loading.
• Integrated ASI Loader: Includes dsound.dll, similar to OpenIV's dinput8.dll, to enable ASI plugin loading in GTA V Enhanced (and to load OpenRPF.asi).
• Performance optimization: Addresses slowdowns caused by inefficient file loading in OpenIV.asi, resulting in a smoother gaming experience.

Installation

1. Extract the archive contents into your GTA V Enhanced directory (where GTA5_Enhanced.exe is located).
2. Create a folder named mods in the same directory.
3. Place your modified RPF archives inside the mods folder, just as you would with OpenIV.asi.
4. Launch the game and enjoy your mods!

Warnings

This mod does not automatically convert file versions. Using Gen8 (GTA V Legacy) files on Gen9 (GTA V Enhanced) will likely cause crashes. Ensure you use files compatible with GTA V Enhanced or convert them using Dexyfex's CodeWalker tool.

Some resources may not be perfectly converted by CodeWalker, potentially leading to crashes or visual anomalies. Report any issues encountered on the CodeWalker Discord.
