The Real Time Handling Editor is a powerful tool for Grand Theft Auto V, designed specifically for vehicle and handling developers. This mod allows you to adjust vehicle handling parameters in real-time within the game, providing immediate feedback on the changes you make.

Installation

1. Extract RTHandlingEditor.asi and the HandlingEditor folder to your main Grand Theft Auto V directory.
2. If desired, check the settings_menu.ini file located in the HandlingEditor folder to customize menu hotkeys.

Usage

Open the cheat console using the tilde key (~). Type the cheat code rthe to open the Real Time Handling Editor menu. The menu is designed to be user-friendly, with most options including a helpful description.

Within the editing menus, each parameter can be manually adjusted by pressing Enter on the corresponding option.

Please note that certain parameters require the vehicle to be reloaded for the changes to take effect. The main menu contains a dedicated option for reloading the current vehicle with all tuning modifications.

You can save the active handling configuration to a file or load a previously saved handling from the "HandlingFiles" folder (located inside the "HandlingEditor" folder) to the current vehicle. The accepted XML format is one Item entry per XML file.

Most options apply instantly. However, some options like center of mass offsets require a vehicle respawn.

Take Note

• SubHandlingData items like CCarHandlingData and CAdvancedData are only applied if the original handling data includes them. This script does not generate new SubHandlingData or AdvancedData entries.
• The flag table view may be partially visible on aspect ratios narrower than 16:9.

Compatibility

This mod is not compatible with FiveM.
