This standalone application streamlines the process of translating key codes between decimal, hexadecimal, and their corresponding key names. Built with C and .NET 6, it offers both single and batch conversion capabilities, making key remapping a breeze.

Installation

1. Download the KeyCodeConverter.exe file.
2. Double-click KeyCodeConverter.exe to launch the tool. If Windows displays a security warning, click "Run anyway."

How to Use

Single Conversion:

1. Enter the key code you want to convert (e.g., 74 for ELS-V).
2. Select whether the input is in Decimal or Hexadecimal format.
3. Click "Convert Single."
4. View the converted results, including Decimal, Hex, and Key Name.

Batch Conversion:

1. Paste your ELS-V [CONTROL] section into the provided text area (e.g., ToggleLSTG = 74 ToggleSECL = 75).
2. Click "Convert Batch."
3. View the results, which display the Key Name, Decimal value, and Hex value for each entry.

Remapping Keys:

1. Use the converter to find the desired key code (e.g., K = 75/0x4B).
2. Edit your els.ini file and change the key assignments accordingly (e.g., change ToggleLSTG = 74 to ToggleLSTG = 75).
3. Use 0 for "none" to disable a key.

Compatibility

This tool is designed for Windows 7 or later (64-bit recommended). It is a self-contained executable and requires no additional software.

Known Issues

• If the tool doesn't launch, ensure you are using a 64-bit Windows system.
• For unsupported keys, the tool will display "Unknown Key." Key codes are based on Microsoft Virtual Key Codes.
