This mod resolves a graphical issue in GTA 5, specifically with high-fidelity lighting overhauls like NaturalVision Enhanced. It addresses the problem of hyper-extended anamorphic lens flares that clip through geometry or appear as distracting "blue line" patterns, breaking immersion during nighttime gameplay and cinematic sequences.
The root cause is the flare_animorphic texture within the global graphics dictionary remaining active even when the shader intensity should be zero or occluded. This mod targets and replaces the problematic asset with a custom-authored transparent texture, ensuring zero performance overhead and maintaining engine compatibility.
