It is not hosting, not a licence, and not a running server. You still install FXServer, still configure it, and still own everything that happens afterwards.

That gap is where most disappointment with packs comes from, so this page separates what a pack replaces from what it does not.

The three routes, compared

Counts and prices are a read of the live catalogue on 1 August 2026, for published purchasable products in US dollars.

ESX server packs

QBCore server packs

Assembling your own

Products available

9

19

Not applicable

Price range (USD)

53.99 to 150.00

38.99 to 233.00

Sum of the individual resources you choose

Time to a first working server

Hours, once FXServer runs

Hours, once FXServer runs

Days to weeks, depending on how many resources you integrate

You control the resource list

Only by removing

Only by removing

Tamamen

Update path

Whatever the pack seller provides

Whatever the pack seller provides

Each resource updates on its own schedule

Best when

You want a working ESX baseline and will replace parts later

You want a working QBCore baseline and will replace parts later

You already know which resources you want and why

The full server pack archive held 34 purchasable products from 34.00 to 299.00 USD on the same date. Twenty-eight of those declare ESX or QBCore; the rest are either standalone or built on a different base.

What no pack includes

The server itself. You install FXServer, either through txAdmin or as a vanilla setup. Cfx.re documents both paths, and a pack assumes one of them is already done.

A GTA V licence for your players. Every player needs their own legitimate copy.

Hosting. A machine, a network and the bandwidth to serve every resource in the pack to every joining player.

Your database. Packs ship a schema; keeping it, backing it up and migrating it later is yours.

Anyone to run it. The pack does not moderate, patch or answer players.

The four questions that separate a good pack from a bad one

Which framework version is it built against? A pack pinned to an old framework release is a migration project on day one, not a shortcut.

How much of it is escrowed? Cfx.re’s asset escrow system lets a creator protect resource code. Escrowed resources work, but you cannot read or edit what is protected, which matters the first time you need to change behaviour rather than a config value.

What is the update policy? GTA V and FXServer both move. A pack with no stated update path is a snapshot that ages from the day you buy it.

How many resources does it actually start? Every started resource costs memory and start time, and every one you do not use is a liability you will eventually have to identify and remove.

When assembling your own is cheaper

A pack is a time purchase. It is worth it when you do not yet know which resources you want, because it gives you a working reference to react to. It stops being worth it the moment you can name the ten resources you actually need, since at that point you are paying for a bundle whose remainder you will spend time removing.

The honest signal is whether you can describe your server in a sentence. If you can, buy the resources that sentence needs. If you cannot, a pack will show you what the options look like faster than reading about them.

Before you commit to a base

The framework decision outlives the pack, because it decides which resources you can buy for the next two years. Read the çerçeve karşılaştırması before choosing between an ESX and a QBCore pack, and treat the pack as a consequence of that decision rather than the decision itself.

Son güncelleme: 1 August 2026.

A server pack is a pre-assembled resource set, not a server.
