About This Mod
GunShot Wound 2 (GSW2)
GunShot Wound 2 (GSW2) overhauls GTA V's health system, introducing a wound-based realism system for single-player. Every firefight becomes a gritty, tactical survival scenario. Manage pain, stop bleeding, and treat trauma, or face the consequences. Both the player and NPCs operate under this new, challenging system.
Features
- Per-body-part damage: Head, chest, arms, legs, and organs each matter, influencing the severity of injuries.
- Pain system: Experience slowed movement, impaired aim, and potential ragdoll or unconsciousness states due to pain.
- Bleeding and bandaging: Wounds bleed over time; bandage them to survive.
- Trauma system: Suffer broken bones, punctured lungs, arterial bleeds, each with real gameplay consequences.
- Functional armor and helmets: Get configurable protection that can stop or reduce the impact of shots.
- Full XML configuration for customized gameplay.
Installation
- Install prerequisites:
- Install Script Hook V.
- Install Script Hook V .NET Enhanced.
- Download the latest GSW2 release archive (.zip or .oiv).
- .zip Installation: Unpack the archive and place the entire GSW2 folder into your GTA V scripts folder.
- .oiv Installation: Install the .oiv package using OpenIV Package Installer.
- Configure the mod using files in the Configs folder.
- Launch the game.
