JobsV - Crash Fix

This mod provides a runtime patch for TylerEspo's JobsV [.NET] mod, addressing a critical crash issue in the original 0.1.4 release. The original mod, last updated in August 2016 and seemingly abandoned, contains a bug where the script fails to instantiate if any keybinding in JobsV.config cannot be parsed by Enum.Parse. If pressing J, E, K, or F11 in-game does nothing after installing JobsV, this fix is likely the solution. This package does not replace the original JobsV mod; instead, it runs alongside and hot-patches the broken keybinding parser during script load time using Harmony.

The root cause lies in the JobsV.Config properties (InteractKey, HUDKey, SaveDataKey, LoadKey), which directly call Enum.Parse without error handling. Any invalid string (e.g., asterisk, gamepad button name, typo) results in an ArgumentException, causing the script to terminate silently.

Installation

1. Install the original JobsV mod first, ensuring the JobsV folder and JobsV.dll are in your /scripts folder.
2. Place JobsV_CrashFix.dll AND 0Harmony.dll into your /scripts folder.
3. Launch the game. A green ticker message, "JobsV Crash Fix v1.1 loaded," confirms the patches are active.
4. Press J to toggle the JobsV HUD. Press E at job blips to interact.
