Old-Gen Palm Trees (FIXED)
Bring back a touch of nostalgia to your Los Santos with this mod! The Old-Gen Palm Trees mod restores the original palm tree models from the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Grand Theft Auto 5 to the PC version. This mod replaces the current palm trees with those lower-poly, differently textured versions from the old-gen releases.
While the conversion process isn't perfect, this mod aims to recapture the look and feel of the original game. If you're looking to add a bit of retro flair to your game, this mod is a simple way to do it.
Features
- Replaces the current palm tree models with the old-gen versions from the Xbox 360 and PS3.
- Includes converted textures and models from the PS3 version.
Installation
- Open OpenIV.
- Turn on Edit Mode.
- Navigate to "x64i/levels/gta5/props/vegetation".
- Replace the "v_fanpalm.rpf" and "v_palm.rpf" archives with the files provided in the mod.
- Launch the game and enjoy!
