About This Mod
Throw Props like in GTA IV
Bring back a beloved feature from GTA IV with this mod! Throw Props allows you to pick up objects from the environment in GTA 5 and use them as weapons or projectiles. Inspired by MoMadenU's "Ambient Weapons" mod, this script enhances your gameplay with interactive physics and a touch of classic GTA chaos.
Features
- Pick up almost any loose prop in the game world.
- Adjustable maximum prop size to limit what you can grab.
- Pickup and drop animations for immersive interaction.
- Hold the throw button for a stronger, longer-distance throw.
- Optional highlighting to easily spot grabbable props.
- Props can cause ragdoll effects on peds upon impact.
- Configurable throw strength to customize your throwing power.
Installation
- Make sure you have the latest ScriptHookVDotNet installed.
- Download the ThrowProps.dll and ThrowProps.ini files.
- Place both files into your GTA V "scripts" folder.
Controls:
Hold E or D-Pad Right (configurable) to enter grabbing mode. Press the aim button to grab a prop at your feet. With a prop in hand, hold Aim and use R (keyboard) or B (controller) to melee, or left click/right trigger to throw. To drop, hold E or D-Pad Right and press aim again.
Configuration:
Customize your experience using the .ini file. Adjust the modifier key, throw strength, prop size limit, and prop highlighting.
Compatibility
Requires the latest SHVDN nightly build.
