There is no authorized Tebex alternative for monetizing a FiveM or RedM game server. Cfx.re states that Tebex is its exclusive monetization partner and that using another payment provider for game-server monetization violates the Platform License Agreement. Stripe, PayPal, Gumroad, Shopify and a custom checkout are therefore not substitutes for selling server access, in-game perks, ranks, currency or other server-linked benefits.
Scope matters: this rule concerns monetization of a FiveM or RedM game server. A separate software or professional service sold outside that server relationship is a different activity, but it must not be a disguised route to a server entitlement. The primary-source rule
The current Cfx.re server manual names Tebex as the exclusive and authorized monetization partner and expressly rejects other payment providers for game-server monetization. Read that page together with the current Cfx.re terms and the terms shown in the Cfx.re/Tebex onboarding flow before launching or changing an offer.
A processor being technically capable of accepting a card does not make the transaction compliant. The relevant question is what the buyer receives and how that purchase relates to the game server.

Stripe, PayPal, Shopify and Gumroad are not server-perk workarounds
Do not accept a direct payment and then grant the buyer a Discord role, identifier allowlist, package, vehicle, currency or other in-server benefit. Moving fulfilment into a bot or webhook does not change the underlying transaction. The same applies when a “membership”, “supporter tier” or “donation” has a promised server benefit.
Direct processors can still be relevant to a genuinely separate business activity—for example, invoiced consulting that does not grant access or benefits on a FiveM server. Keep the contract, product page, fulfilment and accounting separate enough that a customer can understand exactly what is being sold.
Resource creators and independent marketplaces
A resource creator selling original scripts, maps or other software is not automatically operating a player’s game-server store. That distinction does not remove intellectual-property, Asset Escrow, distribution, consumer, tax or marketplace obligations. Decision checklist before taking payment
- Write down the exact item, service or entitlement the buyer receives.
- Ask whether payment changes the buyer’s access, status or experience on a FiveM/RedM server.
- If it does, use the Cfx.re/Tebex path and verify the offer against the current official rules.
- If it does not, document the separate deliverable and make sure no server benefit is promised informally in Discord or support messages.
- Check intellectual-property rights, consumer terms, privacy, tax and refund duties for the jurisdictions involved.
