Description

MarketPlace System - Player-to-Player Trading Platform

Transform your server economy with this comprehensive player marketplace system that enables safe, regulated trading between players. Whether running ESX, QBCore, VRP, or a standalone framework, this script provides a secure platform for players to buy and sell items at their own prices, creating a dynamic player-driven economy.

How It Works

Players can list items from their inventory on a public marketplace, set their own prices (or use recommended values), and choose whether to sell anonymously or under their name. Other players browse available listings, purchase items instantly, and receive them directly to their inventory. The system handles all transactions automatically with full security and anti-exploit protection.

Core Features

  • Item Whitelisting - Server owners define which items can be traded, preventing sale of restricted or admin-only items
  • Flexible Pricing - Players set custom prices or use server-recommended values for standardized trading
  • Anonymous Selling - Sellers choose whether to display their name or remain anonymous, protecting identity during sensitive trades
  • Listing Management - View all your active listings in one place and remove items from sale at any time
  • Intuitive Interface - Clean, modern UI with easy navigation and clear transaction information
  • Instant Transactions - Automatic item transfer and payment processing with zero delay
  • Anti-Duplication - Built-in security prevents item duplication exploits and fraudulent transactions

Discord Webhook Integration

  • Public Marketplace Webhook - Automatically posts new listings to a Discord channel for community visibility
  • Admin Log Webhook - Private channel for administrators showing all purchases, removals, and suspicious activity
  • Transaction Tracking - Complete audit trail of all marketplace activity with timestamps and player identifiers
  • Anti-Exploit Monitoring - Alerts administrators to unusual pricing, bulk sales, or potential exploits
  • Customizable Embeds - Configure webhook appearance, colors, and information display

Multi-Framework Support (4 Versions Included)

This package includes four complete versions of the script, each optimized for different frameworks. Every version is tested and production-ready with full feature parity.

1. Standalone Version

Perfect for custom frameworks or servers without traditional framework structure. Configure inventory, money, and player functions in Server/Configurate.lua. Simple callback system makes integration straightforward even for beginners.

2. ESX Basic Version

Plug-and-play compatibility with ESX and ESX Legacy frameworks. Works out of the box with standard ESX inventory and money systems. Includes both weight-based and non-weight inventory versions.

3. QBCore Version

Fully compatible with QB-Core framework using qb-inventory and qb-management systems. Supports both old and new QBCore structures. Includes weight-based and non-weight inventory variants.

4. VRP Basic Version

Optimized for VRP framework with minimal configuration required. Works with standard VRP and most modified VRP bases. Adjust functions in Server/Configurate.lua if using custom VRP modifications.

Weight System Options

Each framework version includes two variants:

  • With Weight System - Checks inventory weight limits before allowing purchases, preventing overweight exploits
  • Without Weight System - No weight checks, suitable for servers not using inventory weight mechanics

Configuration Flexibility

  • Complete Translation - All UI text configurable in Config.lua for any language
  • Item Definitions - Define which items are tradeable with individual settings per item
  • Recommended Prices - Set suggested prices that appear as defaults for sellers
  • Commission System - Optional marketplace fees or taxes on transactions
  • Listing Limits - Configure maximum active listings per player to prevent spam
  • Search & Filters - Players can search by item name or category

Economy Benefits

This marketplace system creates a player-driven economy where supply and demand determine prices. Players can profit from farming rare items, bulk purchasing becomes viable for resellers, and market speculation adds depth to economic gameplay. The system naturally creates trader roles and business opportunities within your server.

Perfect For

  • Roleplay servers wanting realistic player-to-player commerce and trading
  • Survival servers where resource trading is essential to gameplay
  • Economy-focused servers needing legitimate money circulation between players
  • Servers wanting to reduce reliance on NPC shops and admin spawning
  • Communities with active crafting and gathering systems

Anti-Exploit Protection

  • Server-side inventory and money validation prevents client-side manipulation
  • Transaction rollback system if errors occur during processing
  • Rate limiting prevents spam listings and rapid-fire purchases
  • Price range validation catches unrealistic pricing attempts
  • Inventory space verification before purchase completion
  • Duplicate listing prevention ensures same item can't be listed twice

Installation Process

Choose the framework version matching your server, select weight or non-weight variant, configure allowed items and prices in Config.lua, set up Discord webhooks (optional but recommended), adjust translation strings if needed, and add to server.cfg. Installation guide included with framework-specific instructions.

Use Cases & Scenarios

  • Resource Trading - Miners sell ore to crafters who sell finished goods
  • Vehicle Parts Market - Players trade car parts and modification components
  • Weapon Trading - Legal or illegal arms dealing between players
  • Drug Economy - Growers sell to processors who sell to street dealers
  • Collectibles - Rare items, limited editions, event rewards trading
  • Service Vouchers - Sell mechanic services, taxi rides, or legal representation

Framework Compatibility

  • ✅ ESX - Full support for ESX Legacy and ESX 1.2+ with inventory weight options
  • ✅ QBCore - Complete compatibility with QB-Core framework and inventory systems
  • ✅ VRP - Works with VRP Basic and most modified VRP frameworks
  • ✅ Standalone - Configurable for custom frameworks via simple callback system

Admin Tools

View all active marketplace listings, remove fraudulent or inappropriate listings, monitor transactions via Discord webhooks, track player trading patterns for economy balancing, and adjust item permissions and pricing on the fly.

Support & Documentation

Includes comprehensive documentation covering installation for all four frameworks, configuration examples and best practices, troubleshooting common issues, webhook setup guide, and example configurations for popular item sets.
