How to Promote a FiveM Server on TikTok

Promote a FiveM server on TikTok by showing one real, understandable moment from the server and giving the viewer one accurate next step. Separate organic posts from paid promotion, disclose commercial content when required, use music you are permitted to use and measure qualified joins rather than assuming views equal players.

Start with an honest content angle

A useful clip demonstrates a specific experience: a job interaction, a custom mechanic, a map location, a community event or a short before/after development change. Record on the live version viewers can actually join. Do not present bought assets as exclusive work, use another creator’s clip without permission or stage moderation outcomes as normal gameplay.

  • Open with the situation, not a logo animation.
  • Keep text inside TikTok’s visible safe area and add captions.
  • Show the server name and the exact next step once.
  • State allowlist, age, language or platform requirements before a viewer applies.
  • Avoid fake player counts, fabricated reviews and guaranteed earnings or growth claims.

Distinguish organic posts, Promote and Ads

An organic post is distributed from the account without buying placement. TikTok Promote turns an eligible public post into an advertisement. TikTok Ads Manager provides paid campaign controls. These routes have different setup and reporting, but paid distribution must follow TikTok’s advertising rules and applicable regional requirements.

Przeczytaj aktualne TikTok Advertising Policies before paying for reach. TikTok updates its categories and market-specific restrictions; an old approval does not guarantee a new creative will be accepted.

Disclose commercial content

TikTok says content that promotes a brand, product or service must use the appropriate Commercial Content Disclosure setting. That can include server promotion, a paid creator collaboration, discount code or product recommendation. Use the current TikTok disclosure guidance and comply with additional advertising law in the target market.

Use music and media you can publish commercially

A trending sound being available in the consumer app does not automatically grant commercial advertising rights. TikTok’s Promote guidance requires original sound or sound cleared for commercial use and points advertisers to its Commercial Music Library. Also confirm rights for gameplay music, creator footage, logos and purchased assets before publishing.

Build a measurable path from clip to join

  1. Create a dedicated landing page with the server description, requirements, rules and join path.
  2. Use one campaign-specific URL or Discord invite you can revoke.
  3. Record profile visits, landing-page visits, completed applications and qualified first joins separately.
  4. Exclude staff, QA and repeated internal visits from the result.
  5. Compare creatives using matched dates and the same conversion definition.

Do not invent an industry click-through or join rate. Your server’s result depends on the creative, audience, region, requirements and onboarding flow. A test is useful when its spend, dates, creative and conversion definition are recorded.

Protect players and moderation staff

Do not expose player identifiers, private chat, support tickets or moderation evidence in a promotional clip. Obtain permission for identifiable voices or creator footage where required. Avoid directing a large audience into an unstaffed application or support flow; pause promotion if the server cannot handle the resulting moderation and onboarding load.

Review after each campaign

Keep the creative, targeting, spend, disclosure state, landing page and observed qualified joins. Remove claims that the evidence does not support. Recheck TikTok policies before reusing an older clip, especially when using paid promotion or targeting another country.
