Map-Modding-Utils-GUI
This is a Windows GUI front-end for Larcius’ open-source gta5-modding-utils Python toolkit, designed to simplify the map modding process in GTA 5. Instead of using command-line arguments, this tool provides a user-friendly interface to streamline your workflow.
With this GUI, you can easily browse input/output folders, select specific workers (vegetation, entropy, reducer, clustering, LOD map, etc.), configure advanced settings using text boxes and sliders, and monitor all console output in a built-in log window. The core processing is still handled by the original Python scripts, but this tool makes them much easier and safer to use, particularly for those unfamiliar with Python or command-line interfaces. For support, it's recommended to join the Discord server and use the support channel dedicated to the modding tools UI.

- LOD Atlas Helper & Preview: Helper tool to build LOD atlas JSON for custom vegetation.
- 3D preview window to visualize a LOD mesh with your atlas applied.
- Built-in help: “View Readme” window with a quick-start guide and “Commands” tab explaining each checkbox/flag.
Installation
- Install Python 3.11 (or Miniconda/Anaconda with a suitable environment).
- Ensure all the original requirements for gta5-modding-utils are met.
- Extract the GUI files to a suitable location.
- Run the GUI executable and follow the on-screen instructions.
