PoliceRide overhauls GTA 5's arrest system, replacing instant fades with a detailed, cinematic, and consistent police encounter. When caught, officers will move in, restrain you, and secure the area. Resisting arrest leads to officers subduing you until backup arrives. You'll then be frisked, handcuffed, and physically escorted to a patrol car for transport.

The transport begins realistically, without teleports or sudden transitions. Attempting escape results in a natural escalation, resolving without soft-locks or invincibility glitches. PoliceRide aims to transform arrests into significant events, ensuring stability and performance during extended play sessions.

Installation

1. Locate your GTA V ROOT DIRECTORY (the folder containing GTA5.exe).
2. Copy the PoliceRide.dll into the scripts folder: Grand Theft Auto V/scripts/
3. Ensure you have installed: ScriptHookV (the correct version for your GTA 5 version) and ScriptHookVDotNetEnhanced.
4. Launch GTA V in Story Mode.

Configuration

An INI file is automatically created on first launch for configuration. All settings are optional. If misconfigured, delete the INI file and restart the game to restore defaults.
